You prefer fruity to chocolaty recipes? Then you’ll like the milkshake flavour I share with you today. To all of you who love fruity and refreshing summer drinks I highly recommend this milkshake with blueberries and vanilla. It tastes best when you use fresh berries and drink it right after preparing it.
Since berries and vanilla are always a good combination, I mix some low-fat quark with a pinch of vanilla and top it with a handful of fresh berries when I want a healthy snack. But I also like to combine these two ingredients in my granola or porridge: Just add some vanilla to your porridge before serving it and decorate it with some fresh strawberries, blueberries or raspberries.
Fruity Milkshake with Blueberries and Vanilla

1 ripe banana
A pinch of vanilla
100 g blueberries
- Cut the banana in coins and freeze them in a freezing container or freezer bag for at least 12 hours.
- The next day, blend all the ingredients in a blender until the milkshake is smooth and all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Pour the milkshake into a glass and decorate it at pleasure with toppings such as chopped nuts, blueberries or chia seeds.
- Enjoy the milkshake right after preparing it.
You can also use very milkshake recipe from this series as a base for your smoothie bowl. Just pour them into a bowl and decorate them with fruit, nuts or granola.
